NEWS: PlayStation sales break records on Black Friday
Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the day for Americans to do their Christmas shopping.
Sony has done a very good job this year, with the enormous sales of the PS3 and the PS Vita.
There were multiple PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita stuns, and Sony did good business with that. Final sales numbers indicate that the PS3 was sold 525.000 times on one day, and the PS Vita went out the door over 160.000 times.
Jack Tretton, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Amerika, responded happy about these numbers.
“We are very happy with the result of the Black Friday sales, especially with the big demand for the special PS3 and PS Vita bundles. Our storage was almost completely empty.”
